Dogs have always been my easy place.

I’m Donna, the owner and primary caregiver behind Easy Days Dog Care.

For more than 30 years, dogs have been part of my heart, my home, and the one thing that can almost always make a difficult day feel better.

I am intensely passionate about dogs: how they communicate, how they build trust, how their needs change as they age, how movement affects their well-being, and how small details can completely change the way they experience care.

My professional dog-care experience includes walking dogs in their own neighborhoods, managing dogs in group-care environments, supporting senior dogs, and working with dogs who are anxious, cautious, energetic, strong, stubborn, or simply very particular about how they like things done.

Easy Days began through word of mouth. People trusted me with their dogs, those dogs became part of my life, and one referral gradually led to another.

Opening Easy Days to new clients is the natural next step.

My goal is not to become the biggest dog-care business in Milwaukee. My goal is to provide excellent, dependable care to the dogs and people I am able to serve well.

Care Philosophy

Your dog is allowed to be an individual.

Some dogs greet every new person like a lifelong friend. Others need time, distance, treats, patience, and several quiet visits before they decide someone is safe.

Both are completely valid.

I do not expect every dog to behave, move, socialize, eat, walk, or communicate the same way. I want to understand what is normal for your dog and what helps them feel secure.

That means learning the little things:

• Which harness they prefer.

• Which corner makes them nervous.

• Whether they need encouragement to eat.

• How they tell you they need to go outside.

• What makes them excited.

• What overwhelms them.

• Which behaviors mean they are relaxed.

• Which behaviors mean they need more space.

Those details are what turn basic pet care into truly personal care.
